VAS Portrait Exhibition 2022
Opening Night, Tuesday 16 August at 7pm
Location: Frater, McCubbin & Hammond Galleries
This annual exhibition, featuring the Nada Hunter Portraiture Award celebrates portraiture in all genres. An inspiring array of talent by some of Victoria’s emerging and established artists skillfully capturing the human spirit. The Nada Hunter Prizes are for: 1st prize, $1000. 2nd prize, $200. 3rd prize $150.
The Judge for this year's Portrait Exhibition was Lewis Miller. Lewis is represented by 'Australian Galleries'. Highly celebrated figurative and still life painter Lewis Miller was born in Melbourne in 1959 and trained at the Victorian College of the Arts, where he also completed his post graduate studies. He exhibits regularly at Australian Galleries in Melbourne and Sydney and at Bruce Heiser Projects in Brisbane.
