I was inspired by her beautiful and calm smile. There is something special in her facial gesture, a sense of contentment that I wanted to capture. I wish I could be as peaceful as she is. In this work, I explored how mono-colour washes as the main palette can be married with tiny colourful touches to capture the essence of the subject.
