Genesis Baroque: Death and the Maiden

Founded in 2017, Genesis Baroque brings together some of Australia’s preeminent historically-informed musicians. In this program, the ensemble perform Schubert’s famed quartet, written in 1824 when he was in the throes of severe illness and aware of his impending mortality, trawls the depths of despair with unparalleled vibrancy and urgency.

National Youth Choir of Australia: Season Finale Concert

The National Youth Choir of Australia, conducted by Carl Crossin OAM, presents a stunning selection of works at the gorgeous Victorian Artists Society after just one intensive week of rehearsals. NYCA is Australia's only truly national youth choir for singers aged 18 - 26 who are meeting in Melbourne for their 2025 residential choral workshop program.
