Hugh Sheridan has had his fair share of loss. An unhinged online campaign saw him dropped from the role of a lifetime, damaging much more than his reputation. In this dark time he lost his father, several close friends and his engagement. I wanted to show not just the brokenness, but also his resilience. Even as the dark clouds of loss gather, the light of a setting sun breaks through, promising that all things pass. This portrait is not of one man; it is a portrait of every person who is struggling through the darkness, trying to find the light.

Acknowledgment of traditional owners.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
