This work is inspired by the plight of the world’s glaciers and the unconscionable threat these iconic landmarks face due to the warming climate and mining companies who have had no hesitation in dynamiting glaciers in search for gold and other rare-Earth minerals. A key aim of this work is to draw attention to this issue in the hope that concerned citizens will advocate for the protection of the Earth’s cryosphere before it is too late.
