This painting is of a view that inspired me while on the Mavista rainforest walk, Bruny Island Tasmania. This view of the rainforest made me stop and look for a moment. The diagional line of the tree and the way the light hits the top, reminded me of a ballerina doing an arabesque. So delicate and simultaneously so strong. So beautiful.
