The painting depicts, what looks like, an impish huntress with their bow and arrow poised to shoot in a surreal and unsual looking forest. The concept plays on the idea of being brave outside your comfort zone. The word "Brave" in the painting's title is also a "tip of the hat" to the 2012 Disney movie of the same name (and a hint to the huntress' true identity)
