This painting is a stylised self-portrait that reflects my experience of overthinking and emotional containment. The oversized head represents a mind that won’t rest, while the blue reflective light on the right suggests darker, intrusive thoughts. My expression is deliberately flat, mirroring a sense of emotional numbness rather than outward drama. Enclosed beneath a bell jar inscribed with the word Invisible, the figure exists in a state of isolation. The paintbrush in my left hand represents the primary way I process and express what cannot be spoken.
