I was drawn to the bold, dramatic language of those covers—the way they made space for danger, desire, and intrigue in a single image. Sloane takes on the role of the femme fatale: poised, mysterious, and in full command of the frame. It's a tribute to that visual era, but also a reclaiming of its narrative power.
