Memory Lane

My young adult life (1960 to 1964) found me living near Canterbury in England. In 1964 I left England and immigrated to Australia. Over the many years since leaving England I have often remembered with fondness the many wonderful places that I had the opportunity to have seen. During 2020/2021 I decided to dig out the old memories and put them on paper; I enjoyed every minute of the time that I spent working on these drawings and watercolours so much so that I felt that I was actually there once again looking at Canterbury Cathedral, Chaucer’s theatre and the old Roman wall that surrounds the City; in 2020 and 2021 it gave me the much needed lift to my spirits that the whole world probably needed.
