Jan 2021 Anxiety My wife Jan had a terrible year. Like everyone she had to survive another year of Covid and its lockdowns, also the death of a close family member who lived in a regional Victoria. To add to this I had to go into hospital for open heart surgery. Due to Covid, no hospital visits were allowed for anyone, so over two weeks the only contact she had with me was by mobile phone. This painting is really trying to depict the internal frustration, anxiety and turmoil that she and many people had to continually live with at that time.. Robert Young
