A contemporary seascape / landscape painter I’ve long been entranced by abstracting the landscape into its basic components – sea and sky. Land and lake. And so on.
Always with my characteristic strong sense of horizon.
Having a science background I also love exploring the possibilities of contemporary materials and their juxtaposition.
In this case Langridge rust paint and metal leaf - on raw linen which imbues an organic earthy base to the work.
