This work was inspired by George Braque's and Pablo Picasso's Cubist art. The painting depicts St Paul's Cathedral, Princes Bridge, Melbourne's Skyscrapers, and the Yarra River with boats by using geometric shapes and multiple simultaneous perspectives.
