Prince's Bridge is one of the city's oldest river crossings, this iconic bridge connects Swanston Street on the north bank to St Kilda Road on the south, forming a vital link between the city's northern and southern precincts. Beneath Princess Bridge, the Yarra River flows gently, its banks lined with wharfs where visitors can board cruising boats. I stood there, lost in thought, regretting that I had missed the opportunity to experience a nostalgic vintage vessel along the river. The old boats, with their charm and character, would have offered a unique perspective on Melbourne's iconic landmarks.
