I completed this drawing for Dad for his 80th Birthday. "I'll draw you anything you like Dad" went the conversation and he came up with one of the oldest photos I've ever seen. The quality of the picture just was so poor, but it seemed just so important to him. I was up for the challenge. The look on his face when I gave it to him was one of such happiness. There were a couple drawings I did for Dad and his response was "I just can't stop looking at them. They take me to a happy place." My father has since passed away and this piece is back in my collection. I enter this piece in the the VAS Summer Exhibition in honor of my father.
