From my Nostalgia collection, "Your Brother Is My Type" brings together loose line work, movement and freedom with a still life piece of a rigid mid-century Brother Deluxe 1350 typewriter. The expressive line work vibrating with the echo of tapped keys from long ago.
I started this collection with pieces that triggered wonderful memories, the collection continues not just for those memories of my own, but inspired by memories shared with others, their stories of when and who would work or play with these seemingly ordinary objects.
