Feeding my plant and foliage obsession with this work of an indoor plant in Terrazzo pot Sketched out in pen first, then layers of acrylic wash applied. You can see from the drips of wash just how watered down it is. Once dry, I use a semi continuous line (aka I scribble) in the detail until the plant comes to life. I use a lot of continued line work to create a sense of movement and energy from the plant. This piece is an original work on stonehenge paper. Framed in a raw oak frame, floating on top of white backing board. With glass protecting the work from the elements. Ready to hang with coated wire and d-rings.
