Winter Sun, Guildford is a homage to the original Impressionism exhibition in 1889 which was organised and featured paintings by Victorian Artists Society artists Arthur Streeton, Tom Roberts and Charles Conner, who painted on cigar box lids 9 x 5 inches in size.
