One of three Select Exhibitions held each year by VAS. Votes cast by exhibiting artists are used to decide the list of candidates for the Mavis Little Artist of the Year Award exhibition. The Winter Exhibition features prizes of Senior Art Supplies vouchers to the value of: 1st prize, $600. 2nd prize, $150. 3rd prize $100. Sculpture prize, $150.

The Judge for the VAS Winter Select Exhibition 2022 will be Julia Ciccarone. Julia is represented by Niagara Galleries. Born in Melbourne, Julia Ciccarone completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1988. Julia lived and worked in Italy as the recipient of the Verdaccio Studio awarded by the Visual Arts & Crafts Board of the Australia Council. She has completed a number of commissioned portraits in recent years and exhibited in the 2013 Archibald Prize and recently the 100th anniversary Archibald Prize.
