This abstract painting is from my painting tour of the Northern Rivers NSW in 2023. It depicts the light and colour of the Wooyung Estuary close to where it meets the ocean at the Wooyung Nature Reserve. It is a gestural painting where i employ musical ideas relating to colour, texture, repetition, silence and movement. In common with all my paintings it addresses the light of the Austraian landscape
