Timothy Dell
I am a painter of 26 years’ experience. I was trained in realism but now work in large scale abstract and semi figurative painting. My work is deeply focused on my love of the light and colour of Australia and I engage in musical ideas of texture, space, movement, repetition and overall design.
Education
Timothy graduated from Monash University, Clayton in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Visual Art History and Criticism .He trained formally in drawing and painting at the School of Encouragement in Byron Bay from 1990 to 1994 under teachers Roland Weight and Lise Temple.
