Jill Rogers was also presented with the Thomas Somerscales perpetual trophy.

The Judge for the SMLXL Fine Art Print Studio Maritime Exhibition was Claude Ciccone. Claude has been practising his art for just on 40 years. He paints people, things and places he’s visited that inspire him, in the style of the old masters. In his studio his paintings jostle for space amongst the whimsical sculptures of seagoing vessels and marionettes that he creates using bits and pieces salvaged from the tip or found at second-hand shops. He researches the boat sculptures during his visits to wharves and fishing villages.
