Yesterday the VAS Paintout group travelled to Malmsbury for a painting session in the Malmsbury Botanical Gardens, and enjoyed the warm Autumn sunshine. Established in the 1850s, these gardens are one of Victoria’s earliest regional botanic gardens, encompassing a wonderful collection of trees and shrubs. The central focal point of the gardens is the ornamental lake with the formed island at its centre.
