This painting is of heavy seas and a high tide at Kitty Miller Bay which is on the southern rocky coast of Phillip Island. It is the site of the SS Speke Shipwreck which foundered in 1905. Hidden at high tide, the rusted relic of the steel vessel is visible only at low tide. Painted on stretched linen using professional grade acrylic paint.
