I went out to my driveway and suddenly saw a huge teddy bear and some toys that our neighbours put on their nature strip. It was as if the bear was packed for a trip and was waiting for a taxi. It was so big it was the size of a 4-year-old toddler. The warmness and softness were combined with the sense of abandonment and the unknown. The teddy was there only for a day or two, and I hope that it ended up in loving little hands.
