Rosa was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Australia in 2015. She is passionate about Chinese culture and painting. She has completed a High Diploma in Chinese Ink Painting at The Chinese University of Hong Kong where she learned about painting history, flowers and birds, landscapes, figures and meticulous paintings.
After moving to Melbourne, Rosa studies Western painting at the Victorian Artists Society having tuition from Jo Reitze, Maxine Wade, Yesim Gozukara in order to integrate with local arts and cultures. She often interacts with local artists.
In 2019 Rosa has had a successful solo exhibition at Wantirna Fund Raising Art Show and St. Clement Parish. She also participates regularly in VAS art exhibitions and overseas art exhibitions.
Rosa is a member of the Victorian Artists Society and Melarts Association in Melbourne. She was awarded Highly Commended by the Victorian Artists Society in the Spring Exhibition 2019.
Rosa is also a frequent participant in open art workshops, tutors and shares painting techniques. She dedicates her time to artistic creation.
Her ambitious goal is integrating the essence of Chinese and Western art into her unique style.
