The painting forms a series of contemporary landscapes created during a residency in regional Finland. The last of the autumn hues are highlighted against a murky backdrop and abstracted sky. I studied this lake each day during the residency, noticing the changing umber and yellow colours and serenity of the landscape, just before the snow would set in for the season.More info at www.roserartist.com
