I spent the spring of 2020 in Lockdown on my property at Buxton surrounded by green paddocks, the river and my favourite hill where my walks meant I was watching the season unfold with the wildflowers marking time as they came and went. I had more time than usual to engage with them. Here I try to convey something of their passing with some coloured and others incomplete. I used some graphite for this as it helps convey the fragile their nature.
