Hanging on to Your Words captures the quiet desperation of holding onto something once spoken. A small figure clings to the edge of a dictionary, suspended between memory and meaning. This mixed-media sculpture reflects how language can anchor us in love, loss, and longing—sometimes all at once—while also contemplating the potential disappearance of the dictionary and thesaurus as AI increasingly reshapes how we use and preserve words.
