Andrea Polmear

Andrea has been working from her studio in Hawthorn (Vic) for the past twenty years. Her favoured subjects - industrial scenes, urban architecture and landscape - are inspired by, and drawn from, her extensive travels worldwide.

Her client base has evolved mainly from private commissions, her preferred media being oil on canvas (Italian linen for preference); with occasional forays into ‘posterised’ acrylics. Her works are in private collections in Australia, London, Paris & USA, and she exhibits locally.

Professional training post-formal education has included residential sojourns and private tuition with established artists in Australia, Italy and Spain. Her recent work is posted  at ajppaint (Instagram) and included in her travel blog www.pootlings.com.
