A love story told to me by a friend inspired me to portray it in my own interpretation. “Not so long ago, on a winters afternoon while cleaning the attic, I come cross pieces of what seems to be my first love’s photo that I had ripped when I was heart-broken by an old flame 35 years ago. I married her, didn’t I?” he smiled. His story gave me the opportunity to paint a portrait in a different dimension with a twist, and a romance feel. I wanted the viewers to experience what I have.
