I Am Elpis draws from the myth of Pandora's box, presenting Hope as a conscious, active force within a world of suffering. Subtle Sinhala script - victory, hope, courage - is inscribed into the surface as an offering to the viewer. The work emerges from an ongoing reflection on how to live a meaningful life and the values that anchor it.
