An imaginary banksia pod drawn out of my head and rendered in acrylic paint. The bulk of my art works are inspired by the Australian native flower, the banksia, in all its glorious forms from the fly away seeds, to full grown tree, the developing flower heads, fully blooming multi coloured flower heads, to the woody seed cones. It seems to me that whatever you can imagine, nature will already have it somewhere so my wacky interpretations may not be so 'out there' after all!
