This landscape painting of Kings Canyon captures the raw beauty of Australia’s red centre through rich scarlet and rust-coloured rock formations - inspired by my travels around Australia. Sunlight spills across fractured cliff walls, illuminating rough surfaces while deep shadows emphasize the canyon’s rugged depth. The cracked sandstone appears almost sculptural, with every fissure and edge enhanced by the shifting light. Vibrant reds and dark earthy tones blend, evoking both the harshness and quiet majesty of the desert landscape.
