Beneath the fierce desert sun of Kings Canyon, the sandstone cliffs glow in deep crimson and burnt ochre tones. Jagged cracks carve through the ancient rock faces, catching sharp bands of golden light while cool shadows settle into every crevice. The contrast between brightness and darkness gives the canyon a dramatic rhythm, revealing layers shaped over millions of years. Warm colours dominate the landscape, softened only by pale dust and distant blue sky, creating a painting filled with heat, texture, and stillness - inspired by my travels around Australia.
