The feeling of the soft breeze from the feathers of the mother owl as she lets the sun beam in, to touch the owlets and they respond with a yawn. Thin washes and fine brush work was used to create the warmth and softness. You could, if looking closely, see few strokes of iridescent electric blue in the feathers. Though it took hours, it brought so much joy and calmness, and I hope you feel the same while you view this painting.
