My first oil landscape, inspired by a quiet dawn during our summer holiday in South Australia. The soft, diffused light, gentle yet commanding, rose through the morning mist that would soon vanish. A fleeting moment of silence and stillness, inviting reflection and awe. Having worked mostly with watercolors to capture such softness, this piece was a personal exploration into oil painting’s depth and atmosphere.
