The Southern Lights has delighted many across Australia, and the Aurora put on a wonderful show at Skenes Creek. I was on the beach taking photos at 3am and hope to use these photos as inspiration for a series of paintings. This is one that shows the explosion of pink against the dark sky, the beach in the foreground. It has been painted in a loose expressive style.
