In December of 2025, there was a Save Our Ships (SOS) protest at Docklands, aimed at encouraging the Victorian Government to find a suitable permanent berthing for the tall ships, Alma Doepel, the Enterprize, as well as the steam tug Wattle. The protest included small ships as well as a sea shanty group on shore.
