Pei is a Chinese-born artist who has been practising art for the past two decades. Member of China Female Artists Association and Victoria Artists Association. Her oil painting is recognizable for its rich, bold colours and poetic art styles. Her abstract and landscape paintings have been favoured by private collectors and organizations worldwide. Pei has been a finalist in several national art prizes overseas. Her oil painting series ‘Nostalgia’ was selected for the public transport commemorative card of Shanghai City. Pei’s abstract landscape series of New Zealand was published in the historic art book ‘Painting Will Never Die’.

2013 - Shanghai Artists Winter Joint Exhibition, China
2014 – ‘Hometown’ series were selected and publicised as the commemorative transportation cards for the Shanghai Metro
2017 – ‘Reed Series’ were selected for the China Canal City Art Exhibition.
2017 – Diptych ‘Everything Is Born’ were selected for the National Invitation Exhibition of Female Painters and was covered by CCTV-2.
2020 – Joint online exhibitions of oil paintings "Maple Series" and "Contemplation Series".
In the same year, her paintings and writings were included in the historical book ‘Thoughts and Feelings from One Hundred Painters’.
2021 & 2022 – participation in Group art exhibitions at various locations in Australia
2023 – Solo Autumn Exhibition in Belgrave, Victoria
2024 – Solo art exhibition ‘Perception and Metamorphosis’ at VAS Gallery, in East Melbourne.
