First term will focus on interpretative fungi and botanical drawings using colour pencils, graphite pencils and fineliner inks – separately and all together!

Working from photographic references students will complete a series of studies of fungi and botanical specimens using the three mediums. Individually you will work towards creating a larger, refined work in the one of the three preferred mediums based on a composition you develop with Linda’s assistance.

Students of all skill levels are welcome. Technique and composition will be emphasised. More experienced students or past students will be encouraged to expand their imaginative interpretation of the subjects. Demonstrations of technique, helpful worksheets and one-on-one instruction feature in Linda’s classes.
