This two-day workshop introduces classical principles for drawing the human figure with empathy and skill. Students will engage with a timeless life drawing practice informed by Renaissance and Baroque masterworks, 19th-century French draftsmanship and contemporary insights into the structure and function of the human body.
Poses will begin with quick movement studies and build towards a sustained long pose on day 2, allowing students time to explore and put into practice the ideas presented.
Some prior drawing experience is encouraged but not necessary.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
