'Time to fly' visually describes the circumstances in which an individual might be motivated to change. The girl, held gently but determinedly by the raptor, is about to transform herself into a bird. In a contemplative state, she reflects upon herself and discovers she is trapped by consumerism—a prisoner to conformity.
