Winner 2018 George Hicks Foundation Contemporary Exhibition 

The Victorian Artists' Society is proud to present its annual Contemporary Exhibition sponsored by the George Hicks Foundation.

In this Exhibition artists have been asked to explore subjects from a modern perspective, challenging themselves creatively.  

The Exhibition showcases work by emerging and established artists.

Please join us for the opening and awards presentation on Tuesday 26 March at 7pm.

The George Hicks Foundation 

The late George Hicks was awarded Life Membership of the Victorian Artists' Society in 1979.  Mr Hicks' name appears on the Victorian Artists' Society Honours Board.  Mr Hicks was a major sponsor to the Victorian Artists' Society's Spring and Winter Exhibitions from 1968 to 1987.

You are invited to attend this free demonstration, which will take place prior to the opening function of the Contemporary Exhibition at 7pm.

Digital artists Parul Sen, Nathan Moshinsky and Richard Impey will demonstrate and talk about the exciting possibilities and challenges of this medium.
