The Victorian Artists Society's Sunday Paint Out was held yesterday at Mordialloc Creek in the picturesque bayside suburb of Mordialloc.
Located across the bridge from Mordialloc village and a short stroll to the beach, this lovely site provided a great range of painting subjects. Very popular with painters and sightseers is the wonderful collection of small recreational boats which line the creek. A pedestrian footbridge exists under the Pompei Bridge which provides access to the larger boats closer to the bay.
Mordialloc Creek Reserve features well known areas of indigenous plants and wildlife in bushland, wetlands and estuarine reed beds.
