Wrens in the garden represent Spring to me. To watch them continue their work despite the ongoing trials of the pandemic and climate warming is reassuring. The use of Chinese brushwork to depict Australian fauna and flora captures the scene with a technique that is as old as the silk road throughout ancient Asia.
