This exhibition is to show that painting subjects can come about from what people might think is quite ordinary, everything has its own special something. We all see the world in our own way. Each artist has their own way of interpreting the subject and expresses them their way.
'All the paintings are from my local area no more than 10 minutes from home. I’m fortunate to live in a locality that provides me with so much to paint.'
Ray has been a full time painter for over 30 years. He is a member of both the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society and the Victorian Artists Society, having won numerous awards, including the VAS The Artist of the Year award on four occasions.
