Paris Pinky is an award-winning, free-style contemporary artist living and creating in the vibrant city of Melbourne, Australia, working in abstract–cubism styles. Her work is inspired by people, nature and Australian wildlife, expressed through vibrant colours and expressive forms.
Her art journey began at a young age, influenced by her mother, an art teacher, and her grandfather, a talented woodwork artist. Paris started painting at 12, exploring Still Life and Realism before developing her own artistic voice using shapes and expressive forms to share emotion and tell a story.
Paris is inspired by nature when choosing her colours and believe every colour has its own meaning and message. Colour is the heart of her work; it creates feeling, movement and energy.
Although Paris built a career in Human Resources and Marketing, her heart always led her back to painting, and establishing Paris Pinky Art has been one of the most meaningful decisions of her life.
Paris calls herself a girl of colour, as bold and unexpected combinations define her practice. When people see her art, they often say they feel amazed, experience positive energy, and that it brings a smile to their face.
Her mission is to take viewers into a different world through colours and forms, touching their hearts and imagination while creating a moment of joy and connection.
Her work has been exhibited locally and internationally, and she has received some awards.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, as well as Master’s degrees in Human Resources Management, Marketing and Business, and recently completed a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
Paris currently works from her home studio in Melbourne.
