'Novel' is one of Jennifer's first oil paintings. After decades in corporate roles and suffering significant health issues, Jennifer re-discovered her love of making art and how it enabled her to channel emotions. This work represents the hope Jennifer has for escaping her inevitable anxiety to find calm. This was an early work in Jennifer's 'Domestic life' series depicting the psychological joy and toil of life at home.
