Join Australian watercolourist Herman Pekel for a hands-on masterclass!

The masterclass will begin with demonstrations of key techniques, before moving into a practical approach. Each day aims to see participants finish 2 complete works, connected by group discussions.

Herman's class has a collaborative & easy-going approach. Your time will be split between working in our upstairs gallery space and, if weather permits, a plein air excursion. Students are permitted to bring past work for discussion or photos.

This masterclass will be held in our upstairs galleries alongside our 2025 VAS Spring Select Exhibition. Observers are welcome!
